DYNAMIK Stallions is a German Riding Pony Stallion Station located in Western Australia.  Primarily, I decided to import these stallions as my personal dressage mounts as I was looking for a smaller sized horse with dynamic movement to suit my petite size.  Having ridden up to Inter I level, I was struggling to find the right dressage horse for me that did not leave me feeling over mounted.

 

I started to look at what warmbloods were available in Germany in the smaller height range and stumbled across the German Riding Pony.  That is where it all started for Dynamik Stallions, all the power but in a smaller package.

 

In 2007, I travelled to Germany with the aim to buy my first stallion.  It was an amazing experience travelling around Germany and riding over 25 stallions that year.  I was also impressed with the extremely high standard of riding from the children as they were being coached on the 'small warmblood' type ponies.

 

It was the first year that the Elite Pony Sales were held in Germany at Gestuet Kastanienhof.  This provided the ideal opportunity to see a top quality collection of GRP's and really get an idea of what the breed standards were.

 

Don Philino came into the arena to be worked and I could not take my eyes off him.  I rode him numerous times and

he gave me the best feeling of any stallion that I rode on the trip, with his expressive paces and superb tempera-ment.  He had outstanding credentials for his age and had 40 foals in Germany so was also a proven sire.  The auction was very nerve racking and exciting at the same time. Don Philino was the draw card with buyers from Germany, England, Italy and the UK bidding against me. Luckily I was the winning bidder!

 

Don Philino was the first GRP stallion to stand at public stud in Australia in 2008. He still has one of the highest 30 day stallion test scores on record for GRP's with a dream score of 87.7%.  He has had huge success in both Germany and Australia in competition and has proved himself to be a top stallion that is extremely talented and versatile and now his progeny are also proving this.

 

Don Philino has created an ongoing addiction for the Dynamik Stallions team.  Currently Dynamik Stallions have four imported and fully licensed GRP stallions standing at public stud in Australia.

 

My GRP stallion Sietlands Quincy was awarded the Champion Premium Stallion of the 2014 licensing for Brandenburg and was also approved in Stallion book 1 for Westphalia.  He has outstanding paces and rideability.  Be sure to check his webpage as he commences his competition career in Germany in 2015.  His semen has been frozen for Australia.

 

HET Golden Australis has a remarkable pedigree laced with European pony champion blood.  He is a top character and is a great pony type.  In 2015 he will be presented for his licensing at Westphalia and I hope that he will display his elastic uphill paces that convinced me to purchase him as a foal.

 

The youngster of the Dynamik Stallion team is Numerus Clausus, purchased at the Ponyforum Sales auction in 2014 as the top priced foal in the collection of 80 foals.   He is the image of his Bundeschampion sire FS Numero Uno.  He will be presented for licensing in 2016.  This is one to watch for the future with his incredible cadenced paces.

 

All youngstock owned in Germany by Dynamik Stallions will undertake the German assessment and testing system before I decide if they will come to Australia.  I want to ensure that they fit the breed type and have exceptional rideability and temperaments.  If they are to be imported to stand at public stud they must be of top quality in every respect.

 

I sincerely hope that breeders who use my stallions are able to have as much pleasure and success out of the progeny as I have with my GRP's.  With the German Riding Pony now becoming very popular in Australia, I feel that this breed is going to make a tremendous impact on all disciplines of competitive riding here in Australia.  With their outstanding athletic ability and expressive gaits these ponies will be able to help our young riders get a better feeling from their ponies and learn to ride big movement so that their transitions onto a larger warmblood mount will be a much smoother one.

 

The GRP is a versatile breed type.  The Dynamik stallions are suited to breed quality ponies with excellent movement and temperaments.  They can also be breed to downsize warmblood and thoroughbred mares to create small riding horses with competitive paces.

 

I have four imported licensed German Riding Pony Stallions available Australia wide, all have excellent temperaments and outstanding credentials.  All my stallions have proven progeny and I am happy to talk to prospective breeders about finding the best match for their mares.  I have ridden over 60 GRP stallions in Germany during my visits and have a solid knowledge of the GRP pedigrees.
